Patryk Suwala works between photography and software: images for rooms, faces and nights; interfaces for data, archives and small useful systems.

The work is built around attention. A long evening in a club, a long afternoon with a person, a long day with a dataset: stay with the thing until the extra material falls away.

The photograph and the tool are not separate personas. They are both ways of composing a situation so another person can understand what matters.
